Your Tasks
- You are responsible for managing and conducting scientific projects, in particular, conceptualizing the study design, drafting and submitting ethical applications, development of surveys, development of targeted recruitment material and recruitment strategy, data collection, data handling, and data analysis, drafting and authoring scientific manuscripts
- Engagement, involvement, and communication with international collaboration partners and supporting experts
- Depending on your own expertise and the actual need, you may be appointed with other responsible tasks in other areas of the foundation's scientific work: e.g. representation of the patient's / parent's voice in an international and EU-funded research projects; engagement with international stakeholders; managing, maintaining, and updating sponsor relationships; development of factsheets, manuals, or position papers for medical professionals and parent / patients
- Representing the foundation at international/national events and congresses and practical presentations

Your Qualifications
- Scientific background related to health (doctorate required), e.g. epidemiology, public health, health sciences, nutritional sciences, health management
- Very good understanding of quantitative research, qualitative research is an advantage
- Several years (>3 years) of experience in managing international projects and in working in interdisciplinary team
- Excellent methodological and analytical skills and the successful implementation of these in practice
- Strong knowledge of statistics and hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or similar)
- Skills in scientific data analysis and effective data presentation
- High level of initiative, i.e. independent, structured and result-oriented way of working, as well as a high level of commitment and team spirit
- Very good presentation and moderation skills geared towards a wide variety of target groups (e.g. medical field and patient representation)
- Stylistically confident, experienced writing and editing of (e.g. scientific) texts in English. Fluency in English is required. Other language skills are an advantage.
- Social and intercultural competence and the ability to empathize with the situation of those affected as well as with international healthcare professionals
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
